eh...screw sc/t...get the exhaust and call it a day. More importantly, why did you get fired from kmart, and why would you want to work for walmart?

Yeah at some point I'd like to get the exhaust done and that's about it.

As for getting fired..when on register we have to offer 'smart plans' which are like warranties and credit card apps. Apparently I didn't meet the quota for that although I was only on register seriously 2 or 3 times a month. I really can't believe I was fired for that, being there for about a year and half which is more than most there, I think there's more to it. All of a sudden there was a lot of talk about Kmart being a big affirmative action employer. Within the past 2 weeks over 10 blacks and indians were hired, no whites. Not trying to come off racist in any way but I believe that has something to do with it because since I started there had always been whites.
Anyways, I don't want to work at Walmart, I just need something. I really wanna work at Target because Targets got it goin' on.

They've actually fired quite a few people lately (white nonetheless). They probably did see me secksin it up on camera, they were just jealous and didn't wanna confront me on it.
Maybe I should learn to cook and be a Jake.

Never....food industry is usually stressful...find a job full of mindless tasks...i went from being a shift manager/leader at a pizzeria to shrink wrapping/packaging lottery tickets at a printing press and couldnt be happier.

I'd never get a job involving food I dont think. That lottery ticket crap sounds so nice. I didn't mind getting carts, stocking, and straightening at Kmart so hopefully I can get in at Target. How'd you come across that job though?

my dad works for the company that runs the lottery in ny called gtec...and knows one of the guys at the printing press that prints the betslips so i had an easy in....but they surprisingly hire quite a few younger kids for part time...they say its cheaper than paying temp workers.

In my case it sucks though because I am a fulltime cook but also I do everything in the restaurant, I waited tables 2 days last week becuase a girl was sick I have worked 13 days straight (and am sick) and I have to run the whole place, I am the boss when the boss isnt there which is nice, but stressful to say the least.

being the boss when the boss is gone is HORRIBLE at a food place, especially when your young..old people complaining don't take you seriously at all.
