Oh well... got to admit I was never a fan of the Pale Yellow... Reminds me of the Boxster that had great lines ruined by it... I would definitely get a paint job on the TA, or keep it LOW miles and hope for collector value. Couldn't have sold a lot of them in that color! (Yellow Jacket, Yellow Devil is the uber Yellow.)

$1000 says my toilety RX7 not only has a higher resale value, but would also whip your cars ass in the 1/4 mile or road track. Not to mention it was Motor Trend Car of the Year for it's time, and is still a cult classic in it's performance car arena. Far more "Collector's Edition" than some faded yellow car with black puke on the side. Lets see if in 2015 if the 2002 TA is still world reknowned for its performance. (which will be hard considering it wasn't even when it was new).

Jaketuff is still my idol.

Which AFRs are those? Looking stout!

(Wires are a BITCH on this car... Looks like the Swedish Chef puked spaghetti all over the engine bay on mine too...)

I have a fortified T5 behind this sucker. It was built to a rating of 550HP by a CT Speed Shop that is handling a lot of this work. They are standing behind the T5 with a warranty. The output will be limited to around 500HP because of the tranny. I figure that will put me at a HP:Lbs of 1HP for every 6.4lbs, better than a stock 07 Dodge Viper.

So E/Ts... when I get it hustling... I am reaching for high 11's?!!!

165 Non-Emission with a little work done to them. I'd like to see how your T5 holds up. I have the Astro Performance gear set in mine right now.

And the wiring looks bad in that photo because I am wiring up a bunch of new stuff, and the wires aren't hidden yet. But this winter, everything is getting tore down, dropping a girdle and windage tray in with a 7 qt oil pan, tubular k-member, a-arms, coil overs, etc and full asjustable (90/10, 70/30, 50/50) drag suspension on the rear. Doing a bunch of body work (rolling fenders, fixing the door from when I was jumped and pulled out of the car, holes in engine bay, etc) and slapping some 275/40/17 ET's on the rear. My goal is between a 118-120 trap with a 11.7xx @ 2900-3000 lbs w/o me in the car.

The shop has a conection with Typhoon... I know I know - but it ain't for looks! And hey you though it was Edelbrock, all good.

These are some of the mods I managed to get done so far:

Motor:
Crate 351W FMS heads, FMS Camzilla, FMS shorties port-matched, FMS Windage Tray, Typhoon Intake port matched, EFI w/Bosch Benched and Flowed, Aeromotive Rails, PMS computer, PMS MAF, Alky Injection, Sparco IC, Twin Remote mounted Garrett T04E Turbos, TIAL BOV, OEM look T-back exhaust, BeCool radiator, A/C deleted

Tranny/Rear:
Mongillo Motorsports built T5, 3.73 Gears, Girdle, Line Lock, tranny loop! Woo!

Suspension/Brakes:
Lakewood traction bars, Eibach drop springs, adjustable shocks, CGS subframe connectors, HAwk brake kit upgrade, ss lines

Looks
2.5 inch cowl hood, blacked out IC, stealth stock F.O.R.D. look 5.0 baby!

Misc
Interior carpeting redone, A/F, guagepod, supertach as usual cuz OEM sucks, WFG, door panels redone, some weight savings... Weld Draglites all round, stock ponys for the street

Decent platform I guess...

Tuffenuff

sweet, ur runnin the z-cam!!! That thing has an insane lope to it at idle. I can't wait to see how the twins work out for ya. There was a guy on stangnet that did a remote setup like that with his 95, had the air filters in the brake cooling ducts, but took it off because his was all under the car, and it hung to low. It wasn't like yours where it was up inside a little bit. However he did make some CRAZY numbers, I'll ahve to look them up. Best of luck, can't wait to see it when its done!!!

That a question or a statement? The T5 is an original manual that came in the Foxbodies. A T56 will bolt up, but then you need the bellhousing, whole new clutch kit, driveshaft, trans mount, etc. All that started to add up, and the T56 is a little heavier then the T5.
