JRYAN34 is infamous around these parts, but not in a good way
kicker vs mtx..........

I work at circuit city and I get a rediculous discount on all car audio. I am wondering your input on what I should get. Here are my options......1) Kicker Dual Solobaric 12" and Kicker 1000-Watt KX.1-Series Mono or 2) MTX 12" Dual 1800W

agreed. what exactly do you want to get out of your system?

if you are stuck on getting one of these brands, go with 2 12 inch Kicker Comp-VRs, and a ZX 750.1 Amp.

x2................ lanzar, MMATS, RE, CV, earthquake, and orion are brands (of subs at least) that you see doing well in the SPL arena.......MTX, kicker, and JL cant say too much. isnt it lanzar that is doing well now? and MMATS owned in the 90s..... when has the "great" JL ever owned?

point being, get your ass out of best buy and into the real world of car audio if you really want something impressive.
