It was a question I don't know much about ford motors. Didn't they use the T5 in early 4th gen f-bodys too?

Hmmm... Actually I got the TA Girdle. It is a really stout piece. Gives extra fluid capacity as well for the deal. Will it strengthen the rear sure... but I expect the shafts/rear/driveshaft to go first with the anticipated powah!

Break then replace ho! I think the TT setup, tranny, EFI, dyno time is pretty decent spending on this rig for now!

8.8 should be plenty of strength for what your doing. I don't see you needing a 9" anytime soon.

Update... Nearing Completion!

Intake is fitted... rubbin valve covers so they are being swapped out...

Ceramic coat for the Shorties...

Turbos are mounted up and snug!

Starting to look TUFF!!!

Car will likely be running on Saturday. Dyno times pretty soon after some shakedown and legit times after a decent amount of tuning to the PMS.

JAKE OUT!

Pat, Let me be the first to tell you, from experience, that you are going to hate those open wastegates. You will be deaf, and after about the 4-5th time hearing it, you'll wish you have had them plumbed back into the exhaust exiting.

Good idea, trying to save eardrum!

I will speak to them about it, I am not taking it until I am happy with the features/sound/etc of the whole thing.

Thx

Latest update...

Car is now in Tuning Process. Most big things are done, now just waiting on some suspension pieces (U/L Control Arms) and then the car will be pretty much ready to hit the dyno and have tuning finished. Here are some videos of recent test runs....

Well let me tell you why they might get a bad rap! ....

Today she apparently popped a 'forged' piston on the dyno at 4500rPMs! Teardown tomorrow... don't know what the hell to do with her. Punchout?

D'oh!
