In terms of plug and play the Oznium kits were extremely easy. The only headache came from alignment. The bulbs I got came with all the plugs and the only wires I had to mess with was for the fogs, and even then its just two prongs you plug into the stock connector. But if I had seen Boost's sale stuff before I bought my kit I'd just get those instead.

Now, is the 9006 connector that comes off the harness that plugs in to your stock harness connected to the ballast? Is the ballast connected to the two AMP connectors that snap on to the bulb? Is there a light on the ballast, is it light?

Ok, those ballasts arent the most reliable of the china kits, but they are the most efficent ones ive tested. Is the blue led on the ballsts on?
if yes, check the bulb connections. Your fuses COULD be blown and the car is putting out enough power for the ballasts to try to fire but not enough to run them. if not, you have something odd going on. Is there any sound when you turn the headlights on besides the stock relay which i believe is audible? Any buzzing arcing or zapping? If your getting the high beam when your suposed to get low and low dosent work when you engage the high and there is no light lit at any point on the ballast, i would say the two outer pins on your large 9007 connector that plugs into your car are somehow reversed. Can you try wiggling one out and switching the two OUTER pins on the large connector? That being reversed would cause the problems you have. Last edited by ZOMGVTEK; 11-25-2007 at 01:07 AM. |
