2009 LS9 Supercharged Corvette Engine... ZR1, anyone?

Didn't get any specs with it, only pictures. Very awesome design though on that supercharger and intercooler.

I'm not to thrilled with that intercooler setup(too many 90* bends for airflow) but it would be better than nothing.

I wonder if they'll all be blue, or if they'll be painted to match the car... Especially since they are all hand built anyways, and only like... 1000 are being made.

Thats more of a problem for your old ram air setup than it is for this. I'd like to see some numbers for this bad boy.

i dont think these will be handmade, thats a big reason they are getting rid of the LS7 soon.

the LS8 will also have a similar setup with the s/c and the intercooler, itll just be less powerful, and is rumored to be used in the new camaro and CTS-V.

Really cool that they won't have a huge IC sticking out the front, but like someone said, all the 90 degree bends will hinder power. I'm sure they will come out with an aftermarket mod to fix all that though.

that is pretty slick though how the mount it all in one small unit. not to burst the baloon but how much more power does a vette need? you already prbly have enough issues with traction with the LS7, does it need more power still? i mean once your going its prbly a "holy ****" type of car with this LS9

You couldn't be more wrong. There is a good amount of HP that could be freed from rearranging the IC placement.
