I've been building and gathering parts for that thing since January 2006. I need to hurry and finish it .

Comparing to Colin's impressive 222whp dyno. And from my understanding he still needs more tuning! Lets Bench race my wheel hp.

He has RSM ported lim/uim. I have 60degreev6.com/store Intakes
He has a 62mm RSM TB(really 61). I have a billet 65mm TB
He has stock compression ratio. I have 11:1
My pistons and valves are coated which should allow me to run a nice tune on pump gas or more advanced timing on a high octane run.
My cam has a lot more duration but a tad less lift. I do have custom length pushrods so I won't be loosing any of my .515 lift. And I got crane gold series rockers which i'm sure are way more accurate than stockers.

I WANT to make 250whp N/A or bust(L67) on my automatic trans.

I know this setup will rock at the track especially if I use nitrous. 3k stall and 3.73 gearing should make this thing scream

Thats a very nice build. I sure hope you dont have to swap in an L67. I dont know if Id be able to live with spending even more money after having my previous engine build not living up to my expectations. How much money do you have into that motor all said and done, about $6k?

With the higher CR alone, you should be solidly at/above your goal. Add in the rest of the goodies and it should really run. I will be interested in seeing what it makes. What are you planning for a redline?

Congrats

If you don't mind me asking, about how much do you figure you have invested in it so far?

6500 redline is kinda what i'm lookin at. I might go higher. The dyno will tell.

I'm on a stock flexplate so i'd prefer to not go too much higher than 6500rpms

Way too much. Easily over 10k(engine/trans). But I didn't just build this to break any hp records. I built this setup so that it may last many many years to come. So I replaced every part that I could think of except for the stock 32k mile flexplate.

When I get my receipts organized i'll have a better idea. But that will be a few weeks from now.
