did you see the top gear vid? it broke down 2x on film. not to mention there was a list of things that went wrong with it when others were testing it. inclueding the front suspension coming off, and it bursting into flames at 150 mph.

dont get me wrong, no super car is built for safty. but bursting into flames at 150 isnt exactly the rush i'd be expecting to get from driving a super car.

i'll take the slower more reliable, safer CCX.

Exactly. If I want realibality, I'll buy a Silverado. If im looking for tons of fun at crazy speed, Ill take the T1. And yes, Ive seen the top gear. Seen every one in the last 4 years or so. LOVE that show.

whats the point of having any car if it breaks every time you use it? i dont know about you but i wouldnt want a pit crew following me around every time i drive it to fix what inevitably will go wrong.

its not fun or fast when its broke.

Top Gear rules, i wish they would play it more on the BBC America

Download transmission(mac) or some client and visit finalgear.com
They usually have the newest episodes about an hour after they have ran in the UK.

just look at her mean stance, light weight, and doesn't require a formula 1 licence to take her out for a face bending spin.

yeah, i'm selling the car that is yet to give me 1 major problem, like the suspension falling apart, catching on fire at 150 mph, and the floor falling out. so far for reliability, my GA gets an A. sorry for ya if you havent had the same luck.

Exactly why I'd take a ZR-1 'vette over any of those cars. It's very close in speed to those cars (faster than some, close to the others), but has the engineering and testing budget of GM behind it. It's built to be a reliable car that you can drive every day... and get to 60mph in first gear in about 3 seconds every now and then when you feel like it.

Yeah, and?...

I think the 'vette qualifies for that. There are no official performance numbers yet, but since a bone stock ZO6 with 505hp can run a 10sec quarter, I see no reason a 650hp ZR-1 can't run 9's.

And in the end...it's still a Corvette! I love'em to death but this isn't a "which would you buy" thread- it's which would you pick. If money wasn't a concern then why not get the biggest, baddest, most rare looking of the bunch.

And most of all you focktards.....the ZR1 wasn't even a choice!
