Buick has always been second in GM's line to Cadillac in Luxury, something for the aspiring young family to be able to own that was not as much as a Cadillac. That concept car has some of the looks of the their crossover the Rendevou (SP?). I'd seem to think since Buick had done a total model name change a few years back that it was looking more to interest younger up and coming drivers that wanted class and comfort at a better price. It would be a departure for Buick to even bring back a nameplate from the past unless they were to bring all the old nameplates back to their line, the Electra, Park Ave, Regal, LeSabre, Roadmaster, and the Riviera.

Looks slick, like it's aiming at Lexus or Infiniti. Also noticing some Saturn-like elements in some of the lines and with the front air-scoops. (Reminds me of the Aura and Sky models a bit.)

If Buick starts bringing back some of the old names, Electra would be a natural fit if they ever went with an electric model. (Maybe if the Volt ever gets beyond the talk and concept stage?)

Honestly I can't see Buick bringing back any of the old model names. The premesis for Buick was to inject new ideas and broaden their customer base to include younger generations, 30 and under age group instead of the 30 and over group it has catered to for years.

True, but the Riveria still holds a design that still looks very much like today's vehicle. Just like the Mark. To me it looks like you'll get sport and luxury in one package for less than a CTS coupe. Sounds good to me.

woah. i think its safe to say the production model might be a little different.
Yeah... as in non-existent. That looks like a Lexus IS styling exercise. Oh and a Buick with Lambo doors... LOL!
