I wouldnt be flappin my gums before I knew what the car could do. I know you have a pretty serious build, but a lot of people are a lot of talk. Nobody is even close to 12s anymore with the 3400.

Anybody want to go 12's? I have a proven motor, wiring harness, and PCM, all you need is tranny and clutch.

Tranny just has to hold for a few runs, the clutch, it just has to hold period.

I can have an n-body setup for $7000, this would be swapping from v6 to a quad.

How about this.... if the winner is running a V6, they can have a billet TB or $200 in cash. As a bonus, I will kick in another $50 if the winning car is running any products made by TCE.

Sounds like a fun project but I don't think I could meet the stock steering requirement with a single front wheel. Besides, I think I have too many other projects going on right now.

Im not talking about you at all spy. Im talking about people who think they are going to hit 12s so easy. Your setup is proven, and might have made it to 11s if you didnt keep breaking stuff. Everyone else is running a 3400 though. Schweppe is the only one to hit 12s... barely, and he did it only once IIRC. So technically he didnt even meet the qualifications to win this little contest we've got going now.

BTW spy, how much are you asking for your entire motor and turbo setup?

the motor is getting tweaked for 2.3HO cams, so 7000rpm'ish? Complete engine, with the turbo setup, a twin disc clutch bolted up, wiring harness, tweaked PCM................ it's going to be a chunk of change.

It's an even bigger chunk of change considering I intend to keep the setup, unless if I get the "right price".

Yum, more mods! You made it sound like it was for sale before. I guess anything is for sale, at the right price.

No biggie if you didnt hit 11s. You still have the fastest, and only 1 of 2 n bodies to hit 12s. Oh, and you did it with two less cylinders too.

well it WAS officially for sale. Then after some discussions with certain people, I came to the decision that the setup is of better use to me. Now the car itself, that's a whole different hunk of crap.

2 less cylinders, 1.0L less displacement, pump gas, fully backed up times, repeated the times. Have enough documentation to prove it all. On a rediculously easily repeatable setup.
