We get lots of mail from customers with hundreds of thousands of miles on their Chevy trucks - so much, in fact, we formed the Silverado 200,000 mile club in 2006 - but a million miles is certainly remarkable. We're glad to have Mr. Oresnik on the Chevy team."

Just heard on the news that he hit the 1,000,000 mark today. I guess he's been through something like 6 trannies, 3 water pumps, among other things obviously, but still on the original motor. Pretty intense.

Why would anyone want to drive the same vehicle for a million miles? I would be bored as hell with the vehicle.

It is an impressive milestone for Chevy though.

Honestly man, I can't even imagine driving the same car for 100,000 miles.

Probably, all the articles I've read seemed to make an effort to say that he used a K&N.

and GM did give a guy who was over a million a new truck, he delivered flyers throughout 3 states! HE said he changed his oil every week!!

Nice! I'm lucky too keep mind 60,000.. I get bored very quickly.. Im sure the amount of time i drive one car will change next year when i buy a house (hopefully)

At this point Id love to see what it would take to kill it! He should enter some tough truck competitions and truck pulls to see how much longer it holds up.

naw, keep puttin the miles on and see how many of those it takes to kill it. we know its made of a lot, now its time to find out just how much.
