Made up my mind. Im going with milzy's stage 3 NA cam and head set up. I was thinking about going 60* store not cause I like the products but more so because Ive used thier forum so much. Felt I was obligated. But Ive baught milzy's stuf and it works great I loved my stage 1 boost cam. ]

Im going with 12:5:1 compressoin note: this will be a daily driver* hopefuly
MMS Stage 3 heads
MMS stage 3 cam
Whatever Push rods MMS has to offer for that combo

Bout another month or so and its all mine. Cant wait.

BTW do you guys think 12:5:1 would be able to run on 91

Ok, so Eric's motor is 12.4:1 comp... I thought he told me it was 11.5:1, my bad. Still as Ben said it's a bit extreme. It can be done but we don't know how it will hold up as a daily driver yet. You're basically testing uncharted waters.

I most definitely would NOT try running it on 91 octane though. Compression that high almost needs 100 octane but can be done on 93-94 with good tuning. On 91 octane you'd probably have to retard the ignition timing so much you'd lose most of the power benefit from the extra point of compression so whats the point? Since you're in california and all the magazines I read complain about how bad the gas is there and you can only get 91 octane... I wouldn't do it. I'd keep the comp below 11.5:1 and hope you can tune it well enough for decent power without detonation and be happy with that.

Yes, they have a smaller dish than stock 3400 pistons.

Are you running a Borla cat back or a Borla muffler? If you have a 3" downpipe I would get rid of the borla cat back piping and open it up a little bit. If that motor is going to be moving that much air you need to get it out of the exhuast faster too!

Last I heard the MMS stage 3 car was going through belt tensioners like water. Maybe Mike can elaborate on that issue and let us know if it has been resolved.

This also has me wondering if TCE has released the double roller timing sets, if they have I would put one in.

Nope, both have the same stock bore of 92 mm. All of these specs were on the 60degreev6 site, but I can't find the link to the specs page.
