got new shoes (rims & tires)

My GA gots new shoes. I wont be putting these on till after winter.. but there is a pic in there that shows them along a silver car.

I think these would match my silver tinted ga nicely.

Welcome to the un-unique group of silver/white GA's with black rims.

imo, 17s is the biggest I could go and will look good without lowering the car. I thought about it.. but the deal on these was too good to pass up.

I would guess so he doesnt have to use his car as a snow plow up there during the winter.

I have the same issue, especially with the SC/T kit. If we get any snow, I'll probably be removing the chin spoiler.

I went with 17's as well, mostly because they were cheaper than 18's and will be cheaper in the long run cause tires are cheaper too.

Nice lookin' rims. I wanted gunmetal, but settles for silver.

thnx for the compliments..

Never said i dont want to lower it..I really want to lower the car but this was more economical. And like SSracer said..in the long run it's cheeper.

I still have bad strut mounts i need to replace and that has to be done before i can afford to lower the car..

lowering will be a future upgrade after the cai and exhaust.

Exclamation

Umm, are those Lexani n3000 tires M+S rated.
Meaning, are they all-season tires ?
(Even if they are, they do not look to be designed with winter traction in mind.)

They do NOT seem to have any siping in their tread design.

If they are summer only tires; like I think they are...
DO NOT drive on them until the outside temperatures are above 7°C/45°F outside.

Yea...no problem until its too late. Seriously....Ive driven summer tires through 3 Chicago winters. All it takes is one wreck (or near wreck if youre lucky) to never do it again.
