I love it, the only thing that I would recommend is not getting a 01-03, they have transmission troubles. I have an 03 Limited and went though the whole "shudder" and hard shifts until I raised enough hell for the dealership to fix it. All the fix consisted of was a tranny flush and a re-flash of the ECU.

The power of the Escape is VERY VERY surprising to say the least. The 3.0 Duratec 24 valve V-6 is 201 hp, but is said to have more "get up and go" power than the 250 hp Honda SUV.

If you buy an 04 or earlier, get the 05+ headlights, they look so much better.
