@ Spyhunter

yep it is indeed a sick ride.

but in my honest opinion. and the way i see it. I would say that your car has more potential. Your horsepower to torque ratio is a LOT better then his. Sure you have 120 HP less then he does on your motor, but your torque rating is the same. So if you were to reach his horsepower numbers but in your own way, your car would have a lot more torque and, as such, be faster.

So, for sh*ts and giggles, id like to see you push your project further. The results could be interesting.

not sure if you can view the thread without an account...

Interesting thread, and a pretty bad ass car too. Check outpost 73 on page 5 though by this guy "n-body". Apparently now Spy lives on the west cost and has an automatic transmission now.

I have to say, since ive joined this website and read your posts, we could say you have become my inspiration ..

Inspiration to find myself some budget and build a high powered V6 alero to to take the crown away from that 4 banger of yours :P hehe

I've already got ideas of what i need to do. I just need some funding, which im working on of course, not easy when your a college student .

I got my jackstand racer right here. Complete with a junk motor being stored in the engine bay, and a getrag in the trunk.

what's all this about size and fighting? Who cares. I don't waste my time on these things. I get paid to do worse than fight.

spy, I owned up to that, and I also told you, that crap was meant to stir up the Aleromod folks to get some courage up and try for the challenge. Had to use names they know. That still stands.

So who's the speculation for the most likely contender so far? Inquiring minds wanna know

I second his nomination.

My car will not be in the running...well at least not by my hand.

both blackjack and I when running will be strong contenders, although his will probably be running much before mine, but i have been toying with just completing the bottom end and then doing a direct port 200 shot just to take the prize, we'll see........

Dont do it just to get the prize, keep on going with that whipple. I could throw a big ass shot in my motor right now, but that ruins the competition aspect of it. The original idea of this contest was to inspire some more people to mod their cars to levels rivaling spy, schweppe, aarongtr and the like. As well as the advancement of the grand am and 3x00 aftermarket to keep these cars around longer.
