About the plate, I agree, but the person was trying to make it look exactly like the one from F&F3, which is why it has the plate and the year one sticker on the back window just like the movie car.

We know. I agree with Tony though, it's still sad. I'd convert the car back it's original SS form. Would be worth more and look just as good if not better IMO.

Aaron I was just pointing it out because a lot of posts bashed him for doing the conversion when in fact he didn't..and some of those posts were after the explanation.

^ That's how I feel. Not many older/classic cars do it for me. It's just not what I am into.

To me the GOAT your dad has is nice. I take it those are aftermarket wheels though? Very nice lines. I am ashamed to say I love Corvette's and it is a dream car of mine, but I am only into C4 + Vette's.

My dad has had 7 vette's in "his" day and he even says they are over rated too an extent......... He said he wants a 72 with a 427. But i doubt that will ever happen. He def doubled his money on this investment

Yes aftermarket wheels, as close to stock as possible though. without having really crappy wheels

Tony. You better hope I don't make freinds w/ any Chinook or Osprey pilots or it'll be over w/ the Goat.

Fly up, land, push the car in the cargo bay and take the f*ck off. Hell we could always sling load it in <5 minutes. FTMFW!!

For 1969, the dealership worked with Chevrolet to have the L-72 engines installed on the factory assembly line using a Central Office Production Order, or COPO. The orders included power disc brakes, a 4.10 Positraction rear end, a stronger front stabilizer, and a heavy-duty 4-core aluminum radiator. Buyers of the car had the option of either the M-21 four speed or the Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic transmission. A total of 201 cars were sold in 1969, 171 with four speed transmissions and 30 with automatic transmissions. Yenko rounded out the visual package with front and rear spoilers, a cowl-induction hood, special "Yenko 427" badges, twin stripes down the flanks and hood, and the sYc (Yenko Super Car) badge.

Almost 40 years later, these Camaros have been appraised and sold for well over $2.2 million USD at Barrett-Jackson auctions.
My friends car runs like a Yenko, and maybe later on he will put the M-21 tranny into it.
