not really sure , like i guess i had something else in mind by that exhaust. it'll be interesting to see how that holds up in our climate here; and how milwaukee likes to dump excessive amounts of salt on our streets

for now. I need an exhaust on to get back to school, but i will probibly swap my flowmaster and tips onto the 2.5" piping. It was cheaper then having a shop bend it and mandrel bends ftw

Yeah its better quality then I expected. I got it for under $300 shipped. The piping seems solid and thick like stock. The muffler is smaller then my flow master in width, but I've never herd it so I'm in for a surprise tomorrow. Overall so far i am pleased. the system also comes with a 5 year warranty iirc

EDIT: The picture of the tape was to show that the yellow is in fact tape and removeable.

YALEROYNOT hey everyone, I'm a newb!
I got the pace setter kit and a high flow magnaflow cat. my exhaust is 2.5 from motor to tail pipes. when in stalling I tucked it as far as I could tight the body. this was the stock exhaust when I pulled out of my drive.I have malibu dropzone springs (2") drop. I got the whole thing to my door for $380 thats the whole exhaust and cat and down pipe

I like the cat only had it on for a few days. lost a little in the lower end but gain more pull over 2000 rpm. I needed a new cat so I upgraded to SS high flow

Pontiac Grand Am 88-1474
this is the kit I ordered

I have 135,000 on the car. I kept throwing code 420 witch is the cat or o2 sensor I replaced both.

I got a new cat 2 years ago (around 100,000.) the guy who did it put a cheap crappy cat on he also welded it so close to the bend in the down pipe I wouldn't have strat pipe to weld another one on. thats wht i got the whole thing.

Update: I got a little rattle in the rear next to the Axel. Going to have to bend back the heat plate a little i guess.

I asked them a question reguarding the clamps a few days back.
Well, a few weeks back.
here's the email I got in response

"hello , the u-clamps are made from mild steel , being that you are in NY you might want to go to a auto parts store and buy some stainless 1's , also you will want to wash the road salt off the exhaust atleast every few days during the winter .

Overall, I think the exhaust is totally worth it.
Considering I got it for 245+30 bucks shipping, you can't go wrong.
Especially considering the stock muffler costs more money :>

Install went great. Only took a couple hours (about an hour was spent getting a stuck bolt out) Sound wise its quite. I'm guessing it needs to break in, but I might end up putting my flow master on when I am home next. Clamps are working right now but I will probibly get it welded when i figure out what I want to do. The stock overaxle piece was worse then I ever imagined.
