HOWTO: Install 6.5 speakers in front doors invisibly
The pictures in that thread don't show up anymore but the instructions are thorough enough.

I know what you mean. I have a set of 6.5 that match the rest of my speakers that come with a sweet ring. I want to trim my panels so you can see the speakers. My hubby is supposed to be working on this for me.

My speakers look nice too... but last i checked speakers were used to listen to not look at.

Just mount them inside the doors you will be plenty happy.

(look in sig (if it works))
either way, i wouldnt show my speakers like that. what i DID do is i shaved off the black backing behind the door panel covers for the speakers (you know what im talking about?), then you can kinda see them, but to anyone that doesnt seriously look at my doors/rear dash, you'd never know i had em in there.
