My cars...

1998 GMC Sonoma:

1984 Mercury Cougar:

My Cougar was my first car. Inherited when I was 3 from my Uncle who was killed. I will always love this car and will never get rid of it. I plan on redoing the whole drivetrain, rebuilding the 302 to a 347. Converting to 5 lug and putting 17" Cobra R Wheels on it. I have a Thunderbird Turbo Coupe hood to paint and install. Its my show car, it was stored for 15 years before I started driving it.

Due to the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil. Plus the condition of the Economy. The Light At the End of the Tunnel has been turned off.

I had the headliner replaced and the seat redyed. The head rests were a tad sunfaded. My Uncle kept this car immaculate. There are so many cleaning supplies he had in the trunk. When I pull it out this spring Im going to polish the whole car and hopefully get my wheels. That way she shines like shes supposed to.

And if you like detailing you're in the right place, look at some of coupe's threads in the All Shine section.

I like the cougar. I always wanted a Turbo Coupe or a Mark VII as a project car.

Rides are nice.

If you're going to have that rear bumper cover on there, at least saw off the tip of the exhaust so we can't see it

Yeah actually it is. Its called the optional ZQ8 package aka Chevy S10 Extreme. Mine is a GMC.

Thanks guys. The Cougar was my Uncles, and he kept it immaculate and he was killed so the car will never be mistreated. Its getting a frame off sometime, even though the body and interior are mint, I want the drivetrain to be nothing less than that.

I cut the exhaust on the Sonoma , its running a Flowmaster with a turndown until I have tails bent.

"I care about you, please fasten your seatbelt"-----My uncle put that there. Dont dog on that. I have nothing but respect for him. I love this car. It will get better treatment than the GA, and yes the GA gets treated very very well.
