Opinions? Trailblazer SS?

Okay, guys my JEEP killed itself. So I'm in need of a new mini sport ute guy for daily driver duty.

Looking at brand new.

Options currently for me

JEEP Wrangler Unlimited

Chevy Trailblazer SS

JEEP Grand Cherokee

Toyota FJ Cruiser

Toyota Tacoma

so far I'm leaning towards the Trailblazer as I realize there's nothing on the market like my Cherokee, as to me it was very versatile but couldn't tow shiyet.

The Trailblazer I like, LSx AWD, towing 6000ish lbs, the Grand Cherokee expensive as hell, Tacoma it's a pickup blech, the wrangler no space, FJ cruiser tonka truck..

OPINIONS PLEASE!

TBSS will become your new money pit

Intake/chip will put it at more power than the GA

I'd take the Tacoma, Tow 6,000lbs and still get about 22mpg.
I like trucks more anyway but that would be my pick. Just know the Tacoma is alittle over priced.

Trail blazer SS. I read somewhere that GM has actually down rated the horsepower, because it is atually making more horse power than the corvette. They are completely sex.

we'll see what happens im still shopping around.

chip the tbss? funk that, hptuners and a wideband to the rescue. after all myself and Trevtec did a fine job on grandma.

for the record the jeep wasn't junk, I could run over ****, it was a lil underpowered but hauled a lot of junk for the track. it served its purpose quite well. never had any real issues except that I beat the hell out of it to death.

tbss can tow 6000lbs from what I saw as well. which would be handy if grandma comes back together I won't have to worry about breaking ****.

if I modded the tbss it would be just intake, headers, exhaust, tune and some real nice wheels even Moms may want to borrow it!

I have a caddy SRX and love it. Mine is V8 all wheel drive. It gets crap for gas mileage. But it looks good and has a lot of room.

I like the Toyota Tacoma. If you do get it get the TRD. I love that hood scoop, My brother In-law has a 2006 Tacoma TRD and My co-worker just bought one last week.

Tacoma? Yeah, that just definitely doesn't jive to well with me at all. I'm not sure if a hood scoop is a selling point either. Thanks though.

I'm partial to my Grand Cherokee.... Have you looked into the new Liberty? The look like a Mini-Commander.

If you go with a new JEEP I know the owner of a dealership very well. He will beat any price you can get shipped to your door. He sponsors my forum also. My sister got her Patriot from him.

Unless you really need to tow a LOT, I'd skip all body on frame SUVs. Gas is going to be $4.00 a gallon very soon... The new VUE is really nice, if you want a tougher look an Acadia is a good choice. There's also a new Honda Pilot coming (I worked on it a lot at Honda and the interior is very good), Ford Edge is worth a look too.

No Ford products.

The Vue looks girly, the Honda Pilot looks girly.

Towing wise it'll be a good backup in case the work van kills itself or i need to travel out of state with grandma.

Screw $4.00 a gallon gas, I'll go E85 conversion if I have to.
