Honestly, I love the car. The hitch looks bad obviously, and I think the tail lights could be improved.

I dont care if it looks like a camaro. If its agressively styled, rwd, V8, and a coupe, then it works for me.

With some blacked out windows and a suspoension drop, IMO that thing would look near perfect.

Read the ENTIRE thread on camaro5 people... sheesh. Those are not the production headlights. The tail lights quite possibly are not either. The trailer hitch is explained in the thread too. The side vents may or may not be functional. Keep in mind this is still a very early production unit... the real deal isn't coming out until the end of 2009 for chrissake!

Reading comprehension FTL.

Fockin too much time on your hands FTL.

Who wants to read a Camaro forum when I have a PW thread to keep busy here?

If you were a Star Wars character, you would be Boba Fegg.

I've given up trying to keep up with that thread, and instead just reply to whatever the last three posts are about. You'd be Jobba the ****, joo whore.

Front end needs the concept headlights, and the rear end just needs help.

And i agree, that the body lines do not flow well. Door indented, trunk lid sunk down.... Eh....

I'd drive it if it had some serious muscle.

But yeah, it's cool looking, but it needs some help.

Eh, I honestly don't think it looks half as bad as Bob makes it out to be. Yes, it doesn't look as good as the concept... but WTF people? WHAT CAR EVER DOES?! There are certain things they can't do on a production car due to regulations or production costs, so you have to expect it.

The rear end looks a little bit narrow, but from the front it still looks wide and not that tall. Really the biggest problem I have with it is the headlights. Not liking them half as much as the single round light on the concept. Really though non of this is stuff the after market couldn't handle. Some different headlights, drop springs, and some rear fender flairs and you'd have one hot lookin' car!

I like it a lot better in black than I did in white. I agree with most by saying that it is too tall. Even without all the production details worked out though, this car looks worlds better to me than the Challenger.

Body lines look pretty good. Sits too high, though.

I hope they try a different style on the headlights/tails

I am gonna have to withold judgement until later on this one....the black thing at the link sure looks like production level trim etc however it really is quite off from the nice looking concept. I would be amazed if GM really did bring something that messed up looking out after teasing everyone with the concept. They HAVE to bring out something worthy of the 7 year hiatus. If design wise that is all they would be able to muster(and I still doubt it is), then holy crap. Gm over the past couple years has gotten SO much better at taking concepts and really putting them on the street. If this new car pictured comes to be, backwards we go.

Overall, I think the car looks pretty good. I agree that it should sit lower, and it looks way too bulky. I don't like this new boxy/bulky trend now (the Dodge Charger/Magnum, Chrysler 300C, Cadillacs in general, etc). What happened to the curves??? I mean, I know those are only a very select few, but I don't like these so-called performance cars looking like big boxes of crap.

I'd like to see some better pics of it, but I'm iffy on it. I like it for the most part (and NOT because of the name, if could be called Dip-sh!t-whip for all I care), but some things like the headlights and ride height aren't right. They should have kept this:

You can tell it sits lower and just looks overall better

edit: And yes, that is a Transformers pic haha (well, as far as for promotional stuff I mean)

^ I like the fake brake rotor they attached to the hub of the wheel so there wasn't so much space behind those 20" wheels, and you couldn't see the size of the real rotors.
