I thought you were implying that they had made a change for 08 that's all. Otherwise yeah its a very good looking truck and very practical.

If you get a quote, make sure its labled as "trailblazer--wagon". The truck isn't rated different just because its an SS. This is according to my insurance guy who set up mine at AAA. Good luck!!

That burgundy 2WD TBSS in the video is a 2wd model and you will never guess what the tranny in it is:

A built Ford AOD!

I was talking to Fastlane on the phone this last week and when he told me I was like "What the hell?"

Wow that's sick!! Something about GM's cost cutting efforts makes me feel like they made the truck suitable for minimal thrashing. I don't haul ass every where and I have zero problems. My buddy in Dallas is always on the gas and he is about had it with the issues. I guess there werent enough mods to build up the stock tranny to handle a 10 second run.

Yeah...you can do the 4L80E( or a built variant) but oddly enough, there is more modifying/cutting required than you would think.

The best thing about TBSS's though is that they still one of the best platforms for modding and daily driving. And even though they were having a slight noise problem in the rearends, that 14 bolt is badazz and beefy..the front case is a really nice unit too. The amount of them out there running solid 13s, 12s and 11s in the quarter is impressive!

my vote is for the tacoma. 4 door one.

it'll hold it's value for longer, gets great MPG, and looks great as well.

As long as you can deal with the gas, which since you drove a Jeep before you should know what to expect, I say go for it. The Trailblazer SS is one of the best models in the current SS series. Shares the same luxery-sport look with the Impala SS. I'm not a big Trailblazer fan, but the few times I've seen an SS out and about, its made me turn my head.

As long as you can deal with the fuel economy I'm sure you'll love it!

slightly better fuel economy as my 147,000 mile 99 jeep cherokee, RIP you will be missed for all the ***** out in the desert you let me handle.

this bitch is loaded though. all leather, dvd navigation, that window in the roof thing, programmable seats, ass warmers, front back a/c, driver passenger climate control, tow package, onboard air compressor, headphone jacks for backseat, some other stupid **** I don't know what to do w/, ghey onstar, ghey xm radio, oh yeah the ls2 * now hptuners will be useful!*,

**** is all black and very nice. I love the goddamn thing. much more upscale compared to the lower models and definitely has a better presence and aggressive stance.

already put 85 miles on this thing. now I need a trailer so grandma can come w me with no fear :-)

ls2 6500rpm redline.... eeek.

already had some guy rev on me wanting to test his mettle. no thanks im with mah girl and this **** is brand new ya hurr!?
