discount says they'll beat anyones prices. i'd go in to a store with that info you just shared with us, and see if they'll beat it.

yes the avid v4's I paid $117 mounted and balanced. the shop i go to is quick they have 8 people on one car. 1 guy on each tire on runner on each side (takes the tire to the tire changer) there is a guy on the changer and a guy on the balancer. in the time it took the front office to write up the bill 4 tires were on my car .

Yeah, I will, gonna give one a call today and see what's up.
Hopefully I'll have my struts, springs, mounts, and tires on this Saturday, but I might be pushing my luck haha
I'm hoping to drop off my car after work Friday so they can get the suspension done asap, and then I can pick it up and take it to discount.
Now I just have to arrange a ride for both trips haha

Yeah, sorry
Got discount to give me the $128 price (only took a couple minutes). Haven't done them yet, my shop was backed up doing my suspension, so I have to wait for this weekend for my tires. Though I will say, both front hubs, all springs/struts, car rides soooo much better I keep reaching for my door handle and forgetting it's an inch lower hahahaha

01gagton18s Still kinda new, but learning
I have Kumho Ecsta ASX tires and I love them. They handle way better in winter then my Nitto Neo Gen's did and have a way better ride quality. I considered the AST but the ASX seemed like a better tire at the time bc I have a friend that was running them on his talon and he had nothing but good things to say. I haven't heard much about the AST's.

I was happy with my Yoko Avid V4's. I got a lot of miles outta them.

I like my Fuzion HRi's right now. Fuzion is a new division of Firestone/Bridgestone.

Just don't get the factory RSA's. I can't believe they cost 3 times as much as they should.

If you want to buy "locally", I would wait for about 1 to 2-months.

Typically Goodyear & Bridgestone will have spring warehouse clearance sales.

I see an advertising today locally for me:
Firestore Tire & Automotive Centre
859 The Queensway (East of Islington Ave., on the south side.)
Etobicoke
Tel: 416-255-0188

All tires on sale for 45% off of MSRP. They carry Firestone & Bridgestone tires.
(The best I have ever seen was 55% off of MRSP. But they were hurting that year.)

For Michelin, BF Goodrich, Bridgestone, & Nokian tires I would check out:
http://www.kaltire.com
I use the Mississauga location, formerly known as Mississauga Tire.

For Goodyear tires, check out: http://www.bramaleatire.com

But I would still wait until you see the warehouse clearance sales, if you want Goodyear locally.

Example of last year: Greater Toronto Area: GoodYear Warehouse Direct Tire Sale
50% off of MRSP.

For GoodYear warehouse sales: I usually see them advertised in the Toronto SUN newspaper.

PS: Just remember it is 50% off of MRSP.
No one pays MRSP in the tire business; more like 33% off of MRSP (based on Active Green & Ross pricing online) for the Goodyear Triple Treads.
