I am not sure how many guy have, but if you get a chance too, listen to the MTX Jackhammer. I know its huge and everything. But just to feel the power that thing can put out is extremely impressive. I first heard it with only 2500 watts going to it and it shook every muscle in my body. Then I heard it with about 4000 watts (RMS) to it and it ripped the tailgate in half on the suburban it was in. It ripped it like a piece of paper. Truly disgusting. I'll try to find pictures of it if I can.

jackhammer = orgasm machine... .

i heard one in philly one night...either that or there was a very localized earthquake in NE philly. I think it was in the wawa parking lot on the BLVD near byberry rd (for those of you that have any idea what im talking about)

dont get to excited on that 18, I was dissapointed with it.. You really need monster amps to push that thing to get it even to move. Just make sure that its totally sealed from the back. what is the cbft in that trunk anyway?
Ya my employee has 2 2000spl pioneer amps to push the big mutha ****a. We will see how loud it gets in a cavi . That caddilacs trunk is 15 cbft.

It's just unrealistic who is going to sacrafice that kind of space for the subwoofer? I realize it's loud but any woofer that big is going to be. Just my opinion.

^^^ i agree. anything that big would be loud. too much space needed. if someone else came out with somethin that big it would blow it away cuz MTX is trash

3/4" MDF and that one baffle is plywood. I ran out of MDF. I had specs from a custom box a friend had and tweeked them to my wanting. I have the dimensions, I'll draw a diagram. I think there is 3" from the back of the magnet to the front of that first baffle and 1" in between baffles.

It's a nice box. It obviously made the system. The box is one of the most important things with subs. Nice!

At 75mph my exhuast setup is 106db with the cat on. It was way louder with no cat. My single 12" Alpine Type R and 400 watt mono block is more than enough for me. However with the right box and right space subs can pound, and the grand am is great at holding sound in, a few sound deading mods and they are great.

Schram's Auto on EbaY

There are some panels, in great shape and slightly moddified already. There is a number for Schram's and call them for listings of stuff for a two door. I know they have something, they have lots of everything there. They are not too far from Cleveland so you could drive and pick them up or get them shipped. They have shipped lots of things, cars, motors, rolling chassis, etc.....

Did you call them? The have two salvage yards, one in Waterfod, MI and one in Mason, MI. Call them, they have more than whats listed on Ebay or on their website. They have more stuff than they normally know about. I know you have a two door thats why I typed the paragraph after posting the link for everyone to see.

Go to a local body shop, they might just give you some that have slight damage. If you plan on molding them and modding them to what you want them to look like.
