If you have questions let me know. I tired to keep these pics in order. I scanned each corner on the scoops to give you an idea. There looks to be only 2 cracks on the whole hood. Chunks are missing in more spots than I remembered. But this is still salvageable.

PM me with interests. I will be back in the morning.

like he said above, lots of clamps and then everything you need to fiberglass/bondo, and sand the hood... what is the last picture showing? cant tell.

Just curious, but how much did you pay for both items at the JY???

I would think it would of been more than $100

I would recommend having some one with experience working with fiberglass fix this. It isn't hard but if you distort the hood while it cures or use too much resin the hood will NOT sit right. Also keep in mind that a metal hood is easly persuaded when it won't sit just right. This hood will crack before it goes where you want it to if it is not done right. I'm not trying to avoid a sale with you but make sure you CAN fix this properly cause I would hate to see you out the money plus your time.

Absolutely, not much 'tooling' required here. But you with need to clean the spit out of it. Obviously the GA that had this hood had a bad LIM leak. Oil and grit all over the under side. I would pressure wash this bad boy and simple green the hell out of it. Then get between the skin and the frame where it is pulled apart and clean that good as well. Put new adhesive down and clamp it all around the edge. Be sure to pull the frame to the skin when bonding. The skin, in this case, is more rigid than the plastic frame. The frame work essentially holds the air intake and the location for the latch. It is not the structure of the hood but helps it retain its shape when bonded.

The last pic shows the corner of the hood (At the passenger side near the cowl when installed) where it snapped off. I have the piece that needs to be bonded back in place.

The hood was $25. I really don't want to sell these but I can't find time to fix the thing. My loss is someones gain.

I'm out. I don't really have the means to work on this. Never worked with fiberglass before.

Got any shots of the top of the hood? I do know someone that can do some decent work with things like this to revamp it. Are all the hinges at everything to bolt it on in good working condition?

Also, can I get a shipped quote to 05038? Just a rough estimate.

I will ship it. UPS quotes it as freight around 130. If you are still interested let me know.

Shots of front...see post #19. Need more? Let me know what you want to see specifically. First pic shows top of the hood.

Est. on shipping...see above.

Sorry, didn't notice the pictures on #19, only on #21. It's a bit rough. But I guess I could make it work. I'll get back to you.
