Installed Supercharger

I just purchased and installed one of the magnesun superchargers made for our cars. I don't really have any decent pictures right now but I will definately get some when I can.

Also along with a pic of the supercharger I have a picture of something im not quite sure what its for and dont remember were it is suppose to be bolted down so could someone tell me were it goes?

There is a bracket which mounts on to the Upper Intake Manifold (Plenum)
It will be a short 10mm bolt....you can see it in the link below:

Yeah I'm planning on eventually getting a tuner but for now I have been pretty easy on the gas pedal.

He probably got it on ebay. They haven't made those superchargers for about 4 years now and there are only about 20 of them out there, so the only way to get one is when someone sells theirs.

Nick, it's hard to tell from that photo but it looks kind like the EVAP solenoid. It's supposed to be bolted to the upper intake manifold. And if you are using the stock pulley and the fuel pressure regulator that came with the kit, you don't need to worry about going easy on it. Yes, it is better with tuning and will make more power... it's not going to blow up or something though if you are running low boost. Everyone with the kit ran them that way for years before tuning was ever available for the grand am.

$2500 for the supercharger, matching UIM, everything needed to install it, new pcm, and EGR delete.

Is the new PCM tuned? You did say you planned on getting a tuner so I'm assuming not.
