Sorry. Hotel yes, house no. Local above means local driving distance

I was thinking about getting it back together this weekend, although If I were to part it out, I think some of the major components would go quickly due to interest.

So far the transmission, block, pistons+rings+pins, and manifolds will likely go quick.

Darn, I might have my wife interested in it as a whole car.

Oh well.

Can't get to the pics of the car, but would like to know what kind of heads/tails you have.

The .50 cal is focking awesome. I had to Google it to see any pics of it. What capacity magazine does it use?

The "Phase Three" album most accurately reflects the current setup.

My hosting provider has been doing some MySQL work, so the site remains sluggish. Perhaps there will be some improvement in the near future. Since I have had a few questions about it thus far, I will attempt a bit of a write-up on what has been done to the car.

If you do end up parting out, I'd like your front control arms.

IF I part it out, eBay is the likely path I will take, simply put. No B$ that way.

Would you be willing to bring it to Ohio or would I have to find some way to pick it up from you?

I can travel. I have a 2004 GMC Sierra that tows well I would drive the car, however, I allowed the insurance, registration, and inspection sticker to lapse. I am right on the Ohio River (my house overlooks it), near Marietta, Oh.

Todd I agree, there would be a lot of interest if you were to part it out.

I think it would be interesting to see the parts get scattered through out the community and see a piece of your grand am legacy grow into several different quick cars.

Good luck!

Hi all,

I think I have been a bit patient. The offer to build with the buyer present is off the table. I am simply building the engine now, and will put it on eBay once it is running. I will take pictures of the progress and all of the modifications to use for assistance in the sale. Will post updates here if interested.

Bump for another car that needs to go to a good home!

For his + mine at $5600 you could have one of the fastest and most original GA's out there!

Assembly Update #1

Quick update on the assembly. See the attached pics.

Installed:

-Custom Forged Ross Pistons w/ Gas Nitrated Rings - Card and specs on my web site
-Eagle H-Beam Rods modified for the 60degreev6 w/ ARP bolts
-Cam - (Solid core Federal Mogul replacement, stock specs)

The block has screens epoxied in the lifter valleys, all casting flash removed, radius job on the main bulkheads, oil supply on the main cap ported a tad. Just as defined in the GM performance manual for the 60degreev6.

(I may end up hosting status images in my gallery due to storage space limitations on this site)

Come on. You know you want to buy it
