where the fock have some of you been?? Easily can find an '04 GTO for about $15-17k. '05-'6 from $19k-24k. I have no doubt about it these are the best bang for your buck on the lots today. Why the hell do you think I turned in my '04 early, took a bit of a hit on the lease leftover, and BOUGHT an '06 before they were all gone. Also why I am currently doing some minor mods on it

I saw a nice dash kit, and im gonna tint the windows..Thats if i get it. Everyday the dealer keeps telling me we will know tommorow we will know tommorow..starting to piss me off...

You REALLY shouldn't let this dealer be guiding your buying process. Give the little d1ckwad an ultimatum. Especially considering it's only a used Grand Prix. They're a dime a dozen and an average car. This isn't a ZR-1 Corvette.

Yes you can get a 04 gto for cheap. Ive seen them for 14000. I had a 98 grand prix gt. Had a ton of electrical problems. The 3.8 is a good engine though, but the insurance on a supercharged one. Not that the gto would be cheap, but it would be a hell of a lot more fun. Grand prixs are average cars in all trim but the gxp. The rattles and noises will drive you crazy in a few years, but good luck with what ever you decide.

he drove a grand am. He should be used to the rattles and noises.

You just have to be tough with these salesmen like bob said its a GP for christ sake first they don't make them anymore, second resale on them is horrible, like I said I wouldnt pay a dime over 10k for that car or I'd get a GTO for the same price and have 10x more of a car

If you don't want to go with a GP and can't do the GTO's 2 doors, you can probably find a used '04-'05 CTS for $17,000 or so... '04 Acura TLs/ TSXs are also going for around that number... much better cars than any GP
