Headlights being shipped. Got my PayPal working again, so I just went ahead and ordered me a few more things...

GatorBack belt and a HyperTech 180 thermostat from PFYC and the CAI/PCM combo from MP Racing. Mark is the man!

Why does it look like the AutoDynasty is smaller than the TYC? Or is it just my eyes playing tricks on me again.

just put on my new ones, they look great but with one problem. one of the headlights the adjuster was broke (the bottom one) which really isn't needed and it looks fine so im not too worried about it.

they do look smaller . but i just think it is the way he has them sitting. i definitely like the blk behind the reflector version on our ga's in day light makes the whole light equally dark all the way across tip to tip.

just wait to see both versions at night. hope that the blk behind reflector version , lights them up equal to with the rest of the light when lit.

to dark in the corner when lit might not look as good ??? follow my meaning guys.

was it broke when you recieved your lights /

mirage85 went to your cardomain site. the day shots look like the tyc > blk behind reflector , correct ? they look like they are lit in some shots in the the daylight ? but night shots are they the new tyc's ? look very yellow if that is them at night with stock bulbs ??? is that the link you mention in your sig??

you have some usual shape tailpipes. trying to picture them turned upside down. MAY LOOK better ??? fit bottom contours of lower bumper shape ??

Yes, they are the Black TYC's, but the night shots are all the stock headlights. You have nothing to worry about when it comes to light output with teh tyc's. You can see these ones as good in the sunlight as you could the factory ones, which is hardly at all, but when its darker or at night, they light up just fine.

If I turned the tips upside down, it wouldnt look right, they fit the contours perfectly as they are, after all, they were designed for the Grand Prix, which has similar openings in the rear bumper.

WTF MAN!!!!

The headlights I paid for haven't even showed up at my house. Paid for them in August off of E-Bay from Pro Exhaust.

Details for Item number: 160144302178
Item URL: http://cm.ebay.com/cm/ck/1065-29392-...m=160144302178
Sale Date: Saturday, Aug 04, 2007, 20:22:23 PDT
Seller: proexhaust (proexhaust.ebay@gmail.com) [contact seller]
Payment details: ~~PLEASE USE CHECKOUT~~
Seller Information
Pro exhaust
Mira Loma, CA 91752 United States

I e-mailed them twice at the two addresses I could find, and haven't gotten any word back yet. Checked the tracker that they have and it shows that I paid for them through BidPay and the same on the BidPay site. Found out that they were supposed to be shipped ground through UPS from my own investigating, but that shows that they only have the shipping info received, nothing else. This **** really pisses me off. Gotta see about what else I can do. Any ideas ya'll?

I have a pair of the clear and black, but now I don't remember if they are TYC or another brand. Anyway I've had them for almost 2 yrs and I hate them. Output sucks and they are already getting that filmy look on the outside. Thinking about getting the projectors.

I think they are pretty good ones. I JUST bought a pair of the black TYC's, but they were the black diamonds. WTH is the difference between the black diamonds and the black crystals that William posted? Hopefully this time, they will come in and I won't have to track down and figure out if they were shipped or not.

BTW, I did get a refund for the issue in post #69.

the filmy look . more detail any photo's ? any of that spider like fine cracking. that's what i do not want to happen to mine.

i think there is just the autodynasty style lights with factory labeled clear lense with chrome behind reflector and then the tyc style lights with aftermarket tyc label clear lense ,with blk behind reflector.

the clear / blk headlights with the darker reflective corner is because it is painted blk in behind .

the other clear/blk headlights have the chrome finish behind the corner reflector. so you can have a lighter or darker look to you headlights.

myself i like the darker appearance on my sliver metallicmist colour car. now the brightest of the corner reflector may diifere because of the 2 difference.

now i bought mine last summer , will install this summer. where i only put 1000 to 1500 klms on my car yearly , if the headlights are going to suffer from this fine spider cracking or this NEWLY heard cloudyness . hopefully the low miles means less headlight use thus less chance for cracking or prolong it.

^^^ Unfortunately, you will never know until you get them. Anythng on E-Bay can be a hoax or somethig wrong. If it's bad, you can report it and stuff.
