Oh don't get me wrong, it's gorgeous from the outside. Inside is nasty.

it is 10 times better then the Grand Am, or anything else in the Pontiac Line up. Maybe close call to the Loaded GXP Torrent.

We had an auto show today and sat in the G8... From the outside the car is gorgeous, but as with other peoples comments the interior is cheap. The opposite side of the e-brake, next to the cup holders, pulls up easily and you can see the whole center console move... Very dissapointed. One hell of a car, but the interior reaks of cheap GM quality. Now the Buicks and Cadillacs... WOW!

Finally, another accurate opinion. How did you like those gauges? It seriously felt like a hopped up G6. NOTHING compared to the GTO, at all. I sure hope the Commodore/Vauxhaul versions interior's didn't suck this bad.

Honestly, I didn't pay too much attention. I have never sat in a GTO so I can't compare, although I am willing to bet hte GTO's interior is far superior!

Top notch quality in the GTO, nothing compared to the G8.

Back From the Show: I thought it looked Killer.. I know some have complained about the interior. I've never Been in a GTO so i can't compare... However The interior for me was just as basic and cheap looking as all the other Car's out there. I think the Malibu has best interior at the show (As far as Car's under 30k Go).

Other then a few new Models this year from different Companies, i though the show Sucked this year.. Anyone Else?

Just saw it in person the other day at the chicago auto show. The interior looks as if the GM beancounters went crazy on a GTO interior. The GTO interior looks like it came from AUDI. This...well it looks like a domestic I will give it that. The items that most stuck out to me was the cheapo center counsel and e-brake, the seats, and the IP cluster all looked like GTO grade stuff that was low bidded this time around.

The exterior is a huge improvement over the GTO, but I would only want it if it was a 2 door.

FYI: A co-worker of mine just bought a 2004 GTO SILVER/BLACK A4 with 16,000 miles on it for $16,900 OUT THE DOOR (tax, title, plates,a**scratching fee, etc.) at a dealership. I might finally start looking at the used GTO market.

Sh!ts are NICE. At least the intake is alot shorter than the G6 GT and doesn't have a severe case of buck teeth.. What the silver and black piece on the side? Any chrome rim options?

It'll be the next used car I buy a ways down the road..

The way gas prices are going, I doubt it will sell well as well as the late entry Camaro. GM should just wait till 2020 to put out the Camaro......

if it gets poor mileage i agree, it will sit on dealership lots like the new STIs are.... but lets say it gets "decent" mileage for a (can we call that model a performance sedan?) it could do fairly well
