Well the way I see this is that,
1 you have a failure with the product. 2 you called them about the warr and you did not like what the girl had to say. First off, you did not follow with what you had to do. Didnt you say something about , you had to contact the place the you had bought it from first? Quote:
A spring broke, big deal. Its bound to happen on some cars. Its a part that get total abuse no matter how you drive your car. Let me put 600 pounds on your shoulders and make you hop up and down. Lets see if your legs dont break. You could also call the BBB, there is nothing that they will do for you. WHY you ask? Its clearly stated that you are suppose to contact the place where you have bought the springs from first. Everything is recorded and time stamped so with a little tracking on there part,,,, I guess you could figure the rest out.

Hey jerkoff, did I ever say I didn't call Tirerack first? No I did not. I said I was awaiting a return call from Tirerack. The initial call to Tirerack ended with the person telling me I could call Eibach myself if I had questions. But you show me WHERE I said I didn't call Tirerack first. In fact Tirerack gave me the contact info for Eibach. Quote:
*Edited to make it nicer. For everyone else - note that despite me calling and Tirerack giving Eibach my contact information, the Eibach Customer Service manager to this day hasn't returned my call. Last edited by GAGT 2 Point 0; 05-11-2008 at 11:35 AM. |

Wow, crazy man. And I think someone needs to take Rosado out back and hose him down. He apparently has no idea what it is like to deal with unhelpful customer service. This is not an outpost of anger dude, calm down.
On a side note, the BBB does exist to listen to the consumer. But there is a catch, and i know from past dealings with.... eh hem.... a-hole-ish customer service, that you might complain and they will listen. But there has to be certain amount of complaints against said company before they can do anything. And the amount of people depends on the company's "Reach". Meaning, local, state wide, national or world wide. So im sorry to say, with a company like Eibach...... your voice would get lost. But i agree whole heartedly with you, find their houses and burn them down. j/k

Are the stock springs more likely to break? I replaced the front driver side ones about a week after buying the car ( a couple of months ago) and then just had the front passenger one go on me a couple of days ago. Is this common (it is a 99 with about 105k on it)? Also, word of warning... dealership cost for ONE of these springs is about $110 or so (got one for $82 with employee discount), but you can pick up a pair of em at a parts store for around $90...
