Do you notice any difference with the MSD wires? What's the cost on those? Installing the headers yourself?

Joe, you must have a hole in your wallet. Leave the car alone, it's practically brand new and doesn't need a thing to be better.

Just prepare yourself for the heat-soak of summer on the ls2. There really arn't a whole lot of mods you can do to fix that.

Just some friendly advice.

heh yeah you're right mike. But honestly, I'm going to be learning a lot this summer at my work, and living in the city is going to cost me a lot of money anyways. I'll be saving some money, but I figure since I only drive the car 4 months out of the year, I want to enjoy the hell out of it.
Anyways, I'd consider doing the wires if they actually help something (maybe mpg?) but at this point I think I'll leave the exhaust alone.
I've already felt some of that heat soak you speak of... in fact, when the car gets warm, I don't hear the happy whistle of the K&N any more

the wires are for their added length and protection around the headers. wires touching hot headers = bad.
