Arrow We need everyone to step up...

All right everyone, we have been working hard to show Raybestos our demand for the racing clutches for the 4t45e.

So far many of us have emailed them to show our interest. Even if you will want these in the future - now is the time to step up and ask, otherwise we may never see them! These clutches allow the car to handle significantly larger amounts of power, while providing the needed durability and economy. Chris will be watching the site and is soon going to register.

Please send an email to chorbach@raybestosclutch.com to show the demand for the high performance transmission components.

Thanks everyone,

Pat

Gordon has worked closely with the CORR (Champ Off Road Racing) to develop their unique transmissions and driveline components. He has designed many custom parts for the Walker Evans Team.

Also Gordon has extensive history with GM, in Detroit. And lately he has worked through Raybestos on the GTP/GPGT 4t65 transmission, and is nearing complettion of R&D on their tranny.

Gordon is also involved with the J-body racing program, GM project, and is at many NIRA/IHRA events. He has been testing a 600-1200 HP J-body (depending on psi) this past week, that runs in the 8's.

Well well well...

Today I got my February edition of Turbo Magazine... and hmmm, this seems like the J-body that Chris described to me. It is listed as the only 8 second j-body with an Automatic, it has the 4t65. The tranny is overhauled with Raybestos clutchpacks, friction plates, and many other goodies!!!

If these parts are good enough for 8 seconds and 31 PSI - then they are SUPERB for us, can you say "bulletproof!!!?"

Raybestos has already worked with the Grand Prix's and given them all sorts of options. I along with many other GA owners want these options... you would be amazed at the potential of our cars with some tranny work (think taking .5 seconds off your 1/4 w/ tranny work alone)...

Don't do that. The last thing we want to do is create a fake market for these guys. If you have 1 - car needing the parts then only email them from one address.

Think about it as a business they are going to say - "OK we got 150 people wanting our product, lets ramp up and get 150 units off the line ASAP" Then, when they only sell 75-100 they aren't going to realize their investment and 1.) Be ****ed that we asked them for this then didn't come through and 2.) Probably never do anything for us again.

I am sure we can flood them with enough legitimate emails to make it worthwhile for them.

Chris is getting a lot of mail, he has established an auto response. At this point he is really happy with the demand. And has created an entire emailbox for our application's part requests.

KEEP EM GOING!
