Adventures in Ford part II

Just in case it isn't obvious I hate Ford.

My 1997 Nissan Quest minivan (aka Mercury Villager) just left me stranded Saturday afternoon. What a great weekend! At least I was only up til 2:00 am this morning fixing the thing. I did know it had a Ford cousin but I thought it was made/designed by Nissan even though it was assembled in the US (Ohio).

Turns out the fuel pump was dead. So what did I see last night after I removed the fuel tank from the vehicle? A FORD logo right on top of the fuel pump/sending unit. I know the car is not all Ford... but I have a bad feeling everything on the car stamped "Ford" is going to fall apart.

I hate this. Never again... no more Fords!
