Vibrating Sun Visors

I have a 2001 Pontiac GA and over the past few months I have noticed this annoying rattling noise coming from the inside of the car. At first I couldn't locate what was causing it...but eventually I noticed that if I would hold the driver side sun visor with my hand while driving and have my passenger hold their sun visor the rattling would stop.

If the passenger stop holding their sun visor but I held the driver side one the rattle would start again and then if we switched with the passenger holding theirs and me not holding the driver side visor then the rattling would start again. The rattling only stopped when both of the visors were held.

So I am guessing that it has something to do with the visors vibrating and making a rattling noise but don't know how to fix it so I don't have to go down the street holding my visors.

Has anyone had this same thing happen to them or does anyone know hos to possibly fix it?

Thanks in advance for any info.

The vibration is likely caused by something else like a tire imbalance.

Start there to correct your vibration concern.

Just had a full set of new tires put on my car two months ago and at that time they were aligned and balanced and the rattling was happening before the new set of tires and is still happening after a new set of tires.

It has something to do with the visors because they are the only things rattling in the car.
