To be honest when all is said and done anyone could do the same at a fraction of the cost but due to me wanting to go all out I haven't necessarily set a budget.

As soon as I get the chance I will post some more updates the weather around here has kind of kept me in the warm house lately so I haven't gotten around to doing much.

Keep up the good work, if you're done in time, you can bring it to the MN summer GAOC meet..

Yes you do and I have to say I am very impressed with the quality of the mounts.

These where my first and will not be my last purchase from MMS.

Along with this I feel like rattles are going to be unavoidable

I'm sure some of you remember the mods done to my engine but for those of you who don't I will have some pictures next weekend when I dig everything out of storage and start reassembling it for the final time.

I wanna see the car at some point even if not done fully. How far out of St. Cloud are you Nick? I'm heading through St. Cloud next Friday night on my way home.

The car is actually stored about a half hour away from st cloud in paynesville.

Maybe one of these times I can make it to one of the meets I saw the thread about March 19th, I'm not sure if I can make it yet but if I can I doubt it will be with the GA.

Hopefully it starts warming up soon this weather is terrible and is making it too easy for me to put off working on the car.

I did however place an order the other day from Wot-Tech...

I hate not having any real updates to post

Anyways I ordered my cam from WOT-Tech along with some other misc goodies. The cam is the street/strip turbo cam listed in the store.

Specs from WOT-Tech

* 265/273 adv duration
* 216/224 .050" duration
* .506"/.506" lift @ 1.6:1 Rocker Ratio
* 109 Intake Center Line
* 113 Lobe Seperation Angle

I have also been working on the 4t65e-HD swap a little. If everything goes as planned I should be starting the transmission build soon.

These pictures are a little old. I was saving them in case I needed something to bring my thread back to life

Intercooler and cold side piping test fitting.

Yes they are. I started making my own then I came across these for sale on gaownersclub, made an offer and ended up getting a decent deal on them. I originally thought I would just end up reselling them but they ended up being exactly what I wanted.

I do however have a full downpipe I can't use do to my choice of turbo.

Another picture of them.

This is one of my other random hobbies. My honda crf50!
Kind of a funny picture. I got tired of it tipping over while trying to work on it

I'm trying to get it ready for spring so I can do some riding! Last summer I managed to bend my rear rim to the point where spokes started to break and burnt up my second clutch since buying it

But I guess stroking it to 108cc probably isn't a very clutch friendly thing to do.

That waste gate placement and how it was made really really pisses me off. I am sad and kind of happy in a way to say i did not fabricate those turbo headers or crossover. I am not sure which one of the other people hes had build them did those, but that would have never passed from my table like that.

Please figure out a way to brace that waste gate tube and the turbo flange to get the weight of them off the headers as much as possible. If you want i am sure milzy would sell you part of the bracket we had made to use as the brace for the turbo flange and if you have a welder you can make a brace from it.

Also i dont think that oil drain will fit. if you can clearance the body enough and clock the center section just right it may clear.

If you have any questions about any thing feel free to ask, ill be happy to help answer them

Jon

Thanks for the comments. I do have a welder and had planned to fabricate some kind of support for the turbo, the holset is HEAVY!

And before I pulled the engine I actually did test fit the manifolds along with the turbo in the engine bay and the oil drain doesn't clear yet without clocking the turbo center section way too far from vertical, so I will have to modify the body. But that's no problem, I already had to do some work on it just to get the turbo to fit between the flange and the body. Both the turbine and compressor housings would rub
