That double roller looks sexy though!
It is in fact the same block here are some more parts you may recognize.

I like how the piston glows in this picture.

A little better picture of the lifter valley screens.

my garage is such a disaster I was afraid I would never see them again if I set them down anywhere.

^ I second this. I can't wait to see this done because I have always loved the turbos over the superchargers. Good job on the build it loos sweet so far.

I do still miss my supercharger sometimes. It made the GA one hell of a fun DD at the time.

All the pistons are installed and rod bolts have been torqued.

Had to drill the holes in the windage tray bigger to fit with the ARP studs.

So what made you dump the SC and go with the Turbo? You should put a list together in the "How to section" on this build. I would love to put a turbo on mine if I knew what was needed and how to do it.

Nope he disappeared. Anythings possible I may still sell them, it's just hard for me to think about what I want to do with the body with so many other things that need to be taken care of first.

If I do end up selling I will for sure let you know first.

It's hard to explain really. When the car was supercharged I had no intentions on doing anything more than a few bolt on's. Then a lot of things changed in my life and I found myself tinkering with my car more and more, before I knew it I was going to college to be an automotive tech and had turned the GA into full on project car.

I now work as a tech at a Chevrolet and Cadillac dealership which does become a pain on days going from a full time job working on cars to coming home and working on my own but I wouldn't change a thing.

I may find myself writing a few How To's in the future but for now I just don't feel that motivated

Another update! I probably just made Ben's day because I just made a rather large purchase from WOT-Tech! I literally think I have purchased the whole WOT-Tech store.

So I did some stuff today, installed the oil pump and bolted on the pan. Pictures will be posted tomorrow because I'm too lazy to upload them tonight.

I forgot I said I was going to post these.

Modified oil pump to clear ARP main studs.

Oil pump installed.

Oil pan installed. You can also see my turbo oil drain on the pan along with the tee fitting being used for turbo oil feed and sending unit for aftermarket pressure gauge.

Otherwise no real progress has been made. I'm still waiting on a few goodies to get here before the top end can be fully assembled. Once that is done it's on to the transmission!

You should paint the block something other than black. Looks so much better, and makes it easier to spot oil leaks.

If I would paint it a different color I would probably paint it dark red, something like the red on my aeromotive FPR posted on page one. But I'm really not that into colorful engine blocks and I'm not too worried about oil leaks.

I just happen to be working on the car right now and decided to take a few pictures for you guys.

I know it's a little extreme for most but like I have said before I'm going all out.

Incase anyone doesn't know that is what used to be here.

Made myself a delete plate out of some 1/8" 6061 aluminum I had laying around. I may polish it later but right now that would just make everything else look even more dirty.

My other pictures didn't turn out for some reason I'll take them again and update later.
