First you need to ensure there is no frame damage...check body panels the whole way back. Then you have to get the parts out of the eay and survey the damage. I'm not a body man so I usually reference gmpartsdirect.com for their images and part numbers. You can buy new parts or you can utilize car-parts.com and search a multitude of auto recyclers for what you need.

Anything 99-05'se and gt will fit the car. There is now pulling the front end off at once. Its not a late 80's ford truck.
You need to pull the bumper off separately, then remove the hood (4 bolts) remove fenders one at a time, and thats it. Then just replace the parts.

If you are looking for a how-to then a haynes manual will provide what your looking for, if you prefer pictures then the link I provided offers images similar to what i have attached here in addition to valuable part numbers since I assume you will want to put the car back together. Most junk yard GA's have too much damage to be used so I advise using the second link for quality used parts without having to travel and pull or pay for new parts. I have lots of parts images to get you going but sleepy is correct in saying pull bolts n clips til it is free. Based on your level of damage I'd say many of the clips are already removed.

Anything is possible. However changing a v6 to a I4 or vice versa in our cars isn't a cake walk. You would need to change out the entire engine wiring harness and the ECM as well. A N-body isn't worth that hassle.

DO NOT SWAP A 4cyl CAR TO A V6!
ive seen quite a few people who have attemted it, got the car running and working. But just had so many problems with it its just not worth it. Save yourself the hassle, buy another v6 car.

A knock sensor wont stop a motor from knocking. How bad is it, does it get quieter once car is warmed up?
