control arm-sport suspension
Have a 2000 Grand Am Gt. According to VIN has sport suspension. Want to put in 2 new control arms (front lower) complete with ball joints and bushings. ACDelco-45D333 and Moog-CK80446 only show control arms for this vehicle as non sport suspension. When I call them direct they tell me they do not have anything for the sport suspension. When I search GM parts it only shows part #15216919 which is the control arm that fits both the non sport and sport suspensions. Anyone have any thoughts or experience whether these will fit in the sport suspension and what difference may be?
Have seen cheaper alternatives showing will fit sport suspension but have a preference for Moog or ACDelco.

As far as i know, 99 offered aluminum control arms then in mid 2000 they switched to a stamped steel control arm... The only difference in suspension components that I'm aware of were slightly different sway bars and spring rates but the rest was the same parts...
If you're looking for an actual upgrade, you could find a set of the 99 aluminum arms in a junk yard then order a set of the poly bushings...

There is no difference in the control arms on any of the suspension RPO's for these cars. Other than the switch from aluminum to steel in 2000, the bushings and ball joints are exactly the same. The springs and struts were all the same too (exact same part numbers on all cars). The only difference was between the V6 and the 4 cylinder cars. Basically if you got the V6 (in SE or GT) you got the FE3 sport suspension that came with stiffer sway bars and standard 16" wheels and tires.
