The new one. 2002 z28

Didn't take long to find what I wanted. More pics tomorrow maybe. The car is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Picked it up for 11,500. 44k miles.

5.7L LS1 with a 4L60E Auto trans. Car pulls real strong and runs like a champ, shifts like a brand new car. I could not be more happy.

Current mods done to it are :

SLP air lid
Edelbrock cat-back exhaust
373 posi rear end
Drilled / slotted rotors with raybestos pads
17x7 front and 17x9 rear chrome c-6 vette wheels

Enjoy.

I wanted an automatic. Having a stick would be fun but I think it would get old. The car will not get any mods anytime soon unfortunately. I will be tapped out for a month or two.

one of the reasons I got rid of my '04 GTO early. Was sick of the 6-speed in the stop and go around here. Not to mention the blue on blue interior was making me nauseous.

I disagree, I'd ditch the C6 wheels ASAP. You can probably get a good enough amount of coin to turn around and buy a nice set of 2000-2002 Camaro SS wheels. I'm not a big fan at all of people putting OEM wheels on the wrong car.

Looks like a clean car, I'd advise you to listen to this advice though: YOU ARE NOT A RACE CAR DRIVER. Gradually learn how to use the car's power over time. Build your confidence! Don't start mashing the pedal and focking around, or we will see you posting picks of this car in a ditch. I'm not innocent, Schweppe23 can speak up on the ride he took with me 2 days after getting the '04 GTO

Yeah I think I would get really sick of it... I like the C6 wheels but for the right price I would get rid of them, I may try to sell them I am not sure yet. The guy threw in 2 more 17x9 c6 wheels that he used to have in the front, then bought the 17x7 for the front. So I really have 6 wheels with 4 decent tires to sell, so yeah I could probably afford a decent set of other wheels. I know I am not a race car driver . I beat on the GA a lot in the past but I am past that phase. It seems every light people would try to race me and it just annoyed me. And frankly the car wasn't even fast (obviously). Will most likely be worse now with this car.

/ramble

O, the dude also included all the stock pieces with the car, rotors, air lid and exhaust. No clue what I will do with that, most likely it will collect dust in the corner.

Very nice! The 'vette wheels don't look bad at all on there... although I'm not really a fan of switching oem wheels either. I think something this style would look better, more musclecar style. http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/670050/10002/-1?CT=999

But anyway, good choice. Like the car.

Lowering will def. be a mod but I don't know about being the first one. I think I am going to keep the rims at least for this season. First thing on my to do list is detail under the hood and give it a nice claybar and wax job.

congrats on the car. I just sold mine, seems to be a natural progression.

i wanted the c6 wheels, but im not a fan of 17s in that style.

take good care of the car and i know it will take care of you.

When did they start making z28's with 350's? Thought they were all 305's.

The LS1 started in 1998 I believe. (In Z28's)
