WilliamGT's Paid off 09 G8 GT :)

Hello, as some of you guys remember me, I use to own a 2002 GAGT and traded for 08 GP GXP and got bashed for it....and in 2010 I traded that in for my 09 G8 GT and now its all paid for. The GP GXP was a mistake and should of bought the G8 instead.
I thought I would say hello to my old GAGT buddies

Welcome to the club of GAGT owners who have upgraded to the G8. Unlike you, I still have my GAGT too. I wish my G8 was paid off...only $23K more to go!

I never knew the GP GXP even existed until recently and I honestly don't know why Pontiac bothered with a V8 in a FWD car. Especially when the G8's were just coming out and the GTO's already existed. There was no need for a V8 GP...

I miss my old GAGT, I still look on Kijiji for it.... I see you have a G8 GXP, I wanted one in 2010 but my G8 was $27000 used and the GXP one was $57000 used... I wasn't gonna pay extra $30000 for a GXP . The GP GXP was nice but FWD V8 isn't suitable.

iirc only half the GXP's even came with a stick. about 12oo total. Rarity is an understatement.

i think only 2 or 3 manuals went to canada.

and IF you can find a 6 speed gxp in the states, you're gonna pay 35k, no matter how many miles are on it. it's like a unicorn

Congrats on the g8 GT, especially paying it off. Now it's time to delete the cylinder shut off, supercharge, headers, exhaust. Lol jk

Congrats. That's a nice car. I was seriously considering a g8 when I got my car but for a used GM that's not a caddy it was way too much money. People get way too excited over their "corvette motors". Lol

LOL, I already modded it 1 month after I took it home. My mods are: Roto-Fab intake, Doug Thorley shorty headers, Catless, SOLO performance mach unbalance catback, Powerbond underdrive pulley, Active Fuel Managment (AFM) turned off by HP tuners, Triple gauges in dash (Atari style gauge), Front GXP bumper and Rear GXP diffuser.

lot's of people shut off DOD/AFM. but i'm running 3.70 gears on mine, and at 85mph my mileage was 12-14mpg. so i had it tuned for 93 octane (feel a big difference) and reworked the DOD programming, so i can cruise at 75mph in DOD mode and get 21-24mpg.

nice list of mods you got there!
