2003 grand am gt 91,000 miles
Got my new grill installed today... Good to see the sponsors still around after so long.

Nice! I just bought the same kind. How'd you get rid of the black epoxy just heat it up? Also do you have anything behind the mesh to keep water out?

InYes... I took out the rusted old plates by heat and scraping as best i could... Two screws with torque heads on each side.
I had the openings open for about a week before i sandblasted and painted the plates a metallic black then clear coat. I replaced the old rusty screws with new also. Check out the after pics. Thanks! Last edited by nivek98; 03-19-2018 at 02:27 PM. |

Sold! Sad to see it go. Now rollin in a 2004 Silverado.
This was my third GAGT. Sold it for 3k with 120kish miles. |
