I talked with zoomer about them, evidently they have a "no sag" gaurantee and that they are pretty nice. Believe he also has em for the GP's

hey well ive recently looked into buying a set of canuck motorsports springs and from how i understand it CM and CSS both sell the same spring its just how they target it to buyers. now with CM they have a lifetime warranty and guarntee against sag i was wondering has anyone had any problems with CM ? and i was also wondering who has them and what they thought of them

If i want to lower my car for as cheap as possible should i just get the springs or do i have to get the shocks etc. also. What can happen if I just put a set of springs on?

1- Suspension is not something to go cheap on.
2- We don't have shocks, only struts.
3- Replace springs AND struts when lowering- you have it all torn apart anyways.
4- With only springs, your struts will burn out FAST. Assuming you already have some miles on them, it'll take less than a year for them to be completely shot, and you'll have to tear the whole thing apart again.

Thanks for the reply, so if I just get struts and springs I should be fine? I'm sorry but suspension is something I know next to nothing about. Im looking for somewhere around a 1.5 in drop which according to this thread it seems like all of the most popular kits are. I prefer to keep my ride quality as close to stock as possible, which kit would be recommended? Is there any extra pieces needed besides the struts and the springs. Im sorry if this sounds stupid but i dont know much about this and want to get my car dropped for summer as soon as possible!

bump, wtf? this thread is a sticky.
on a side note, ryan, you dont need to replace anything but springs and struts. I would go with eibach if you want a more stock ride quality.

maybe post the best one that shows the drop the most and down size each pic...its a bit overwhelming IMO.

Some AGX Info I compiled. List a few cheaper vendors as well as part numbers. 2003 Excel File, take what portions you like.

suspension document.zip

email: drmalikia@hotmail.com for corrections adjustments to the document.

ok well my mounts in my car are bad (40k on it) and since the whole dealership B.S. thing, i've decided to save up some money for lowering my car. i have been thinking about the eibachs and getting KYB's but i was told that the KYB's nothing more then glorified stock springs...e.i. aftermarket stock springs?
since sometime in teh future i would like to get the SC/T kit, now if i lowered it now and then got the kit later on next year or whenever would i completely touch or bottom out badly?? what are the other parts i would need for lowering springs? im sure i'll need new struts, the mounts are already on the list.

you just need struts, mounts and springs. kybs have been working fine for people id say, so i dont think its a bad move to get those. you dont have many other options anyway. i scraped my sct kit with stock suspension. you will scrape but if take steep driveways a little slower and a little more sideways youll be fine. the look of the sexyc/t kit > worrying about scraping.

your car has 3 wheels?

I just bought KYB front/rear set for $219 shipped from www.ajusa.com

The cheapest Eibach's I've seen were on www.tirerack.com for $224 shipped.

As for mounts, I have no idea.
