Just a cut and dry question. For the 3157 front signal bulb, I have 3 load resistor options. 25ohm 25 watt, 6ohm 30watt, 6ohm 50watt. Which one works?

I ordered these 3.5" led driving lights for my car. My Walmart ones that replaced the stock garbage ones were too rusted to deal with when a bulb burned out. I will update the post on how things turn out with them. They should be very bright and hopefully not too hot to melt the paint on the bumper. There is no information on them that i could find other then the ad.

Who would think the Walmart ones could be better then the factory ones (55 watts vs 27 watts) and they are really cheap at $19 a pair. I'm hoping the led ones are not so bright that i get pulled over. I have a flashlight that is a true 860 lumens and it is super bright. These driving lights are advertised as 1040 lumens. The connectors and short connecting cables came with the lights. They are aluminum housing with stainless steel all hardware. They should fit perfectly with some adjustment as they look the same size as the wally world lights. I am not very happy with the light output. They are very yellowish and don't have very good range. They are more like fog lights then driving lights. I can't see how they could be 1040 lumens. I am going to compare them to a high powered fenix flashlight. I tried to write a Rugged Ridge 18W Round LED Light review on Amazon but it was rejected. I'm glad i bought them on Amazon because they will be easy to send back.

Has anyone used the LED fog bulbs from Cree or SuperBrightLED?

I know the crappy plastic lens on the fogs gets messed up after while if you use any regular bulb that has a brighter output.

I liked Jim's lights

I've been messing with them in the truck, and they're not bad, but I can't find anything that is a real big upgrade as far as light output

I used this style briefly, from the front of he car it looked good, but light output was worse than stock
