what did you do with your SD hood? Do you still have it? The cf does look good though.

just check out my cardomain for some better pics of my rims. As for the wheel package, they are 18x7.5 excel rh5 wrapped in michelines, cant remember what brand, but they are great tires.

So is this a functional hood? Can you tell us or give us more pics about the inlet?

yes its functional, the space is cut out where the scoop is. I guess u could make a custom intake for it. I just have a filter placed where the scoop is.

i wouldnt consider it a functional hood. i see it as a hood with a hole in it.

so what would u call the sd hood, or the sct hood??? Everyone would consider them functional, but what are they in reality??? A hood with a hole in it.

exactly... hoods with holes in them. unless you get tubing that directs the air directly to the maf and tb and into the motor ... its still a hood with a hole. sd hood has some functional atributes, because of the vents to the rear that keep the engine compartment cool, but other than that, its still a hood with two holes in the front.

and paint it white so it matches the car.

painting th hood defeats the point of having a cf hood. But to each his own

the point of having a cf hood is to reduce weight for better track times. if you got it for looks, your car may as well be a ford probe. black hood + white car =

, even contrast is ok, but blunt objects like hoods and trunks arent even... why not get black rear doors? or paint the roof black... i'll say again, looks like you were in an accident and got a junkyard hood and are waiting for it to be painted.... but thas me... CF on our rides is pointless cause we cant go fast anyways... so we shave how many ounces w/ this hood? my point exactly...

dual scoops, w/ heat extractors and painted white and u might have somthing.... what you got right now is a hood w/ a hole..... SD owns this hood to the 10th power... IMO IMO IMO

I think somoeone has been drinkin a little too much haterade. Do u really think most people buy a cf hood to be faster. How much of a difference do u think a cf makes in reducing 1/4 mile times? None !!!! It definatly wont make a difference that will be noticable if any at all. I bought the hood for the looks. U know some pepole might have a reaction that i have a hood thats not painted but do i really care?NO!! People who know anything about cars will know that its carbon fiber. U already posted that u hate the hood plenty of times, so stop bashin my style. And thank everyone else for all the compliments!!

Oh and for the sd hood being fully functional, its nothing but a hood w a hole in it also. It is only functional if u fabribate a custom intake for it. Same as my cf hood. And dont say that its not bc i just sold mine.
