gtdreams hey everyone, I'm a newb!
painting technique??

Well,i have my twin post mirrors. They are the aftermarket ones, and used a bit.I could not find KRYLON paint,so i got duplicolor trim paint for mirrors etc, etc. It is like a satin black kinda color,it should look ok,i hope. Now the question is....is there any tips anybody can give as far as preparing them, should i lay them flat, try to hang em up somehow??I was wondering how some of you guys have painted them.If the paint is satin black, you think i should put clear over them or leave them afterwards. My local body shop wanted 125 bucks plus taxes to spray them..Thanks,oh yeah,i had done a search but could not find anything as far as applying the paint is concerned. If i missed that i am sorry.
