Well im new to Grand Am's anyways. Im a camaro guy. but thanks to gas prices i needed something that gets better than 12mpg and still had a lil get up and go. Plus, this lets me work on my camaro and get it to exactly how i want it to be

ANYWAYS, aside from lower intake and head gaskets. any major problems that occur pretty often with these cars? Ill be searching around and seeing of any stick out to me as odd or anything. But thanks in advance for anything yall can tell me here!!

Welcome.

Gaskets, wheel bearings, blower motor resistors, etc are some things you'll find searching through.

Sweet. So you bought a Grand AM, while you work on your Camaro? Sounds good. Do you plan on doing anything to your GA, also? Or will it just be your daily driver?

thanks for the link. ill check it out.

My GA will stay 100% stock. No radio mods ( unless speakers or something go out) not even wheels.

I guess ill check out those wheel barings next weekend or if im off at all this week. I have to replace the rear roters anyways. Do all of the bearings go bad? or just the front or rear?

As for the pics.. idk how to put them in here. I would link to another forum im a member of for my camaro, but i dont know the rules on that one so ill wait for a mod or admin to say its ok. But its a 89 RS with a crate 350 in it already. But i over heated it awhile back ( hit about 330

) And i believe i warped a head or roasted a ring or two. So im pulling it and rebuilding that asap. Red with t-tops. No wrecks or major dents. But being a 19 year old car. its FAR FAR from perfect. Im hopeing for low 11 quarters maybe even high 10's and still be street legal. Why have a cool car if it isnt street legal right?

yea grand ams have this weird thing, where they just suddently blow up outta nowhere..Like your driving, everything is fine, and then boom, it just blows up and you die...
