Ive got some tips to put on the exhaust but for now im liking that look. below is a pic of the magnaflow tips i have that i initially bought way back but never was able to use them.
i still have the tipps that came with the SLP catback kit that i never used along with the muffler from that.

LOL as far as the mudflaps go i honestly do not remember what i got them off of besides a car in the junkyard.

ill be re-painting the valve cover now that its warmer out so it will look better. then ill be taking some better pics that are not in the sunlight of mid-day. sometime soon ill get a better round of video's along with an in-car driving video.

here is an old video from last year with the old OEM style camaro muffler on there. i had the camera stuck in the hole in the headrest but it was kind of a bright overcast day out so unfortunately the camera did not pick anything up.

Yeah, I definitely want to replace the tips on my exhaust as well. I'm debating changing the muffler as well but not sure what I would want to get.

im not in too much of hurry to put the tips on. it works fine and doesnt look horrible the way it is now so ill prob leave it like that for awhile.

one of my other choices for a muffler was a borla pro xs but i wasn't willing to pay $300 for a muffler. it is the same cross-flow style. another friend has the same muffler as me and it sounds good so i went with the edelbrock one.

i had a flowmaster for awhile before and wanted something different and the OEM generic muffler i was running previous to this one wasn't exactly letting the engine perform like it should higher up in the rpm's.

im looking at getting something like a SLP loudmouth 2 muffler to add inline before the muffler to bring the overall sound down a little bit. the car sounds good as it is but the exhaust is a little on the loud side. as you know there is now resonator in the SLP cat-back pipe.

no real update here finally got some driving vids

1st one was from a dead stop.. went to 6500-6700 rpm's

2nd one was a rolling punch.. forget what i went to on this one

3rd one was a dead stop to WOT.. didn't get as high or as fast as i was aiming for since like every time i try there is a ton of cars around. so this was a mild run.

any odd noises you hear are from the car. 4 seconds in on the 2nd one is my car making that noise. i was primarily testing the IFR my friend setup for me to see how far off my tune now was. given my wideband it's not too bad. some minor tweaking and it should be good.

scaled the IFR to the vac changes.

I love the sound of the cam. Your shift points sound a bit weird, but that is just me.

I agree with Colin, they did sound a bit odd to me as well. I love the sound, moves me one notch towards camming my LX9. Nice work, I've always been a fan!!

weird how? just wondering not getting bitchy.

i know on of the videos it was shifting 6400-6600. the other 2 i can't remember what it shifted at. i still gotta play with the time it takes the trans to shift to get rid of some of the lag on the 2 to 3 WOT shift. still gotta lay off the pedal a smidge so it will shift at WOT.

here's a couple of videos idling. 1st one is newer but in reality nothing has changed so they should both sound pretty close to each other.

1st video: Not much to say about the shifting.

2nd: Did you get wheel spin? That might of been what was messing me up.

3rd: Seems the shifts are down low for WOT.

1st actually went pretty good

2nd one it probably was wheel spin it down shifted and just went. this one i slowed down to 30 and nailed it.

3rd looking at the log it only went to 6k on that run. don't know what happened on that run the tps was indeed at 100%.

car was probably crying. i did all 3 runs pretty much one after the other.

my WOT shift rpm is set at 6700. set it a little lower since it ends up going a few hundred rpm over what it's set at.

tune needs work but that probably won't happen till spring. it's still a little lean when i go WOT.

Yeahm the third run was the one that sounded the weirdest, the 6k explains it.

it shifted from 2 to 3 kinda low around 5100.

the one with the possible wheel spin downshifted from 3 to 1. it did feel like it lost traction for that second.

the runs start around line 3990 in the log. i had it running while i went for a drive to see how the trims were. at WOT they zero themselves out pretty much but the tune still needs to be richened up in the upper range.
