I am getting rid of everything
Car 2002 Monte Carlo LS : http://www.cardomain.com/ride/489266...photo-gallery/

The car has been demodded a bit. Motor totally stock different rims all else is pretty much the same but older than the gallery

Engine (0 hours ) built for car but going back to old school 383 Monte Carlo build

RSM SC kit( motor was built around the RSM KIT)

I am liquidating the entire build to start a 1986 Monte Carlo SS 383 stroked

I have over 8.5K in the engine and kit ...looking to get 4k for the the engine and kit.......its built right.....with the right stuff..........i am glad that that has been appreciated.
Thanks for looking

The engine is assembled to the lower intake manifold. I kept the upper off as well as the coil packs in order to ease the drop in.

What's the approximate static compression ratio for this engine?

Certainly interested. What do you think shipping for all of that would run to Missouri?

Looks like a pretty nice build. I'd would buy it myself, except I've already done most of that to my own engine already. The double roller timing set is rare now though, so someone should get it just for that.

Word of warning though, that RSM crank pulley is junk. I'd take it off. I had one myself. Doesn't have the built in harmonic dampener, which is required on these engines. Just as important, the hub on it is aluminum, and it should have a steel sleeve over it where it goes through the front cover seal. The seal on mine wore a groove in to the aluminum and caused it to start leaking oil after not that many miles. It caused my engine to idle rougher too. I put the stock dampener back on it.

I will buy the double roller timing chain if you end up parting the engine out.

Never had an issue with the RSM crank pulley. I ran this pulley for 3 years on my original 3400 without any issue at all.

RSM had issues with just about every one of their designs, possibly i got lucky?, anyway it has performed very well for me.

If it came down to separating the engine from the kit, the engine 3K
the kit 1.5K

As stated before , the engine was built around the kit..........together would be the best for both.

In order to install the TCE double roller the block needs to be machined in order for the crank to clear so you just cant pop it in. Didnt know if that was known or not.

Yeah, the crank itself needs to machined (fillet on the snout has to be squared off), and the block and inside of the front cover need to be clearanced. It's definitely not a bolt on mod.
