1998 Grand Am GT Transmission Swap

Hi Everyone,

My Grand Am is slipping and not responding to the gas pedal, I have narrowed it down to being a major transmission problem (other factors too, stinky ATF, etc.).

The car is a beauty and looks like it is right off the lot with only 84000 KMs on it.

I am brand new to the forum and tried finding some info on this but didnt come across a lot.

I will be attempting to remove the transmission from my 1998 Grand Am GT (3.1L) this coming weekend and am hoping I could get any tips.

Does anyone have a resource I could use for this? I am a novice and looking for any help I can get.

Thanks again,
anthony
